People, environment, responsibility

At Z Elektronika, we believe that a company’s performance is determined not only by what it produces, but also by how it operates.

We aim to create a workplace where knowledge, collaboration and continuous development are genuinely valued. At the same time, we strive to treat our environment responsibly and, within our means, support the communities around us.

We work together, we grow together

Behind the success of an electronics manufacturing company are, above all, the knowledge and experience of its people. That is why we take a long-term approach to our employees and consider it important to provide opportunities for both professional and personal development.

In our day-to-day work, we strive for direct and collaborative relationships. For us, the “open-door” principle means that our employees can approach their managers directly with questions, ideas and suggestions.

We support development through mentoring programmes, training and professional opportunities. We believe that a company’s experience and knowledge are most valuable when they can also be passed on to others.

Supporting the next generation

We believe in training the professionals of the future and actively contribute to their development.

As a dual vocational training partner at both secondary and higher education levels, we provide students with opportunities to gain practical professional experience. We also participate in education at the University of Pécs through the Dual Academy programme.

Our goal is for young people to gain not only theoretical knowledge, but also first-hand experience of how an electronics development and manufacturing company operates in a real industrial environment.

Taking responsibility for our environment

For us, sustainability primarily means the decisions we make in our everyday operations.

Since 2021, we have operated an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001. As part of this system, we continuously monitor and assess the environmental impact of our activities and look for opportunities to reduce our energy consumption, waste generation and overall environmental impact.

Waste generated during production is collected selectively, compacted and baled, after which we ensure its proper handling and, wherever possible, recycling.

We also continuously focus on energy efficiency and, through the modernization of our facilities, systematically look for opportunities to reduce energy consumption.

Conscious manufacturing processes

As an electronics manufacturer, we consider it important to continuously improve our manufacturing processes and consciously shape the way we operate.

We strive to optimize processes, use available resources responsibly and reduce the impacts generated during manufacturing. In order to operate more efficiently and responsibly, we continuously look for opportunities to further improve our production processes.

Responsibility in the workplace and the community

For us, responsible business also means taking care of people.

We consider fair working conditions, equal opportunities, the protection of workplace health and safety, and respect for human rights to be essential.

As part of our commitment to the community, we support local communities and sports organizations, and we also provide employment opportunities for people with disabilities or reduced working capacity.

Continuous development

We do not believe that there is a point at which we can say that responsible operation is “finished”.

We continuously look for ways to improve how we operate — from our work processes and reducing our environmental impact to supporting our employees and training the next generation of professionals.

A company’s long-term success is measured not only by what it creates today, but also by what it leaves behind.
