Wind vane: another joint innovation at the AGROmashEXPO – Video

2024. February 06. Innovation

Agroinform’s AgRobot Show, as a preview of February’s PREGA conference, presents the latest tangible developments in robotics – in this case, a wind vane device.

On the 26th of January, robots took over the Forum stage as one of the most popular public programmes of AGROmashEXPO. The AgRobot Show showcased the latest developments in robotics as a preview of the PREGA conference coming soon in February.

“The trends in agriculture are clearly in favour of digital solutions, which are becoming cheaper and cheaper.” – said Bence Bolyki, portal manager of Agroinform.

At the exhibition, Agroinform was present with several programs including this wind vane device, a joint development of Tomelilla and Z Elektronika Kft. The development tries to answer the question about drifting. István Borsiczky, managing director of Tomelilla Kft., illustrated the advantages of the tool with a video.

The “Wind vane” is a new concept that helps meet the requirements of the EU Green Deal 2030.

The company has developed an ISOBUS spray drift control device for self-propelled sprayers or tractor-mounted field sprayers, which avoids unnecessary or incomplete spraying. The developers at Z Elektronika are helping István to make the idea technically feasible so that things are being done that neither party had previously thought possible.
